Ideal for massage, baths, vaporisation, or mixing into base emollients, it blends beautifully with woods, resins, florals, and earthy oils. (Dilute to under 5% before applying to the skin.)

Extraction: Labdanum essential oil is steam distilled from the crude gum of Cistus ladaniferus.
Aroma: Labdanum essential oil has a warm, sweet, herbaceous and musky scent.
Fragrance note: Middle.
Properties: Labdanum is antiseptic and astringent. Excellent for use in creams for mature skin to help optimise a healthy complexion.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporisation, and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with: Bergamot, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cypress, Frankincense, Lavender, Juniper, Oakmoss, Opopanax, Patchouli, Pine, Sandalwood and Vetiver.
Caution: Always dilute Labdanum essential oil to less than 5% before application to skin.
