Extraction: Grapefruit seed essential oil is obtained by glycerin extraction from the seeds of Citrus paradisi.

Aroma: Grapefruit seed essential oil has a stimulating, seedy and citrus scent.

Fragrance note: Top.

Properties: Grapefruit seed essential oil is astringent and therefore good for balancing oily skin and hair. The aroma has an uplifting, releasing and has a stimulating effect on mood.

Uses: Massage, baths, vaporisation and may be added to base emollients.

Blends well with: Rosemary, Cypress, Juniper, Lavender and Palmarosa.

Caution: Always dilute Grapefruit seed essential oil to less than 5% before application to skin. Keep out of eyes.
